Today’s verses come from Psalms 139:23-24, “Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.”

I was reading the other day and came across a verse in Titus that admonishes the reader to be "beyond reproach". That phrase has echoed in my head for years. It's obviously not possible. We can't be perfect. But we can figure out our priorities and do those well. Not perfect, but well.
The other day someone criticized something I hadn't given more than a passing thought to. At first I was feeling the weight of that, wondering how to fix it. Upset that I left myself open to attack once again.
But before too long I realized it's just not a priority for me! And faster than I've ever been able to before I just let it go!
Friends, there will always be critical people. And they'll be critical no matter what you are doing - not because you need to be criticized but because they are critical people. ❤
Even when others let me down, it is nice to know God won't let me down. That He has went before me and set forth a path. That my steps are planned and I can trust in the path that is laid out before me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Thank you God for being in the details. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Good morning 😘
The God we serve is Holy. He is Perfect. He is Flawless. He is Just. -
He requires Us to also be Holy. But we have so many excuses that will not be accepted. -
Discipline is required. We are not to be like the World. But yet so many Believers are. Stop riding the fence. Pick a side. Lukewarm Believers will be casted into the Lake of Fire with unrepentant sinners. -
Be on Fire for your God. Stop worrying about what people will say. They can’t judge you. How can they when they’re so deep in sin.
This world is getting more and more wicked and further and further from The Most High. Many in the church playing church will also be casted into the Lake. Be careful. Be Faithful. Be serious. Be Holy. Discipline your flesh. -
Fast and pray. Draw from The Most High’s strength. He sees you. He hears you. He knows your thoughts. You can’t fake it with Him. Get off the fence and walk with God. Kick the devil out. -
Have a Blessed and Wonderful Day!😘

God bless you.thank you.
We can allow ourselves to be offended, we can allow words to make us weak, or we can glorify the Lord by choosing to not be offended by the insensitive words of others.
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Daily Devotion: The Beauty of Love
The Bible in One Year: Genesis 46–48; Matthew 13:1–30
Today's Bible Reading: Proverbs 5
May your fountain be blessed. Proverbs 5:18
The “Jarabe Tapatío,” also known as the Mexican hat dance, celebrates romance. During this upbeat dance, the man places his sombrero on the ground. At the very end, the woman grabs the hat and both hide behind it to seal their romance with a kiss.
This dance reminds me of the importance of faithfulness in marriage. In Proverbs 5, after talking about the high cost of immorality, we read that marriage is exclusive. “Drink water from your own cistern, running water from your own well” (v. 15). Even with ten couples dancing the Jarabe on stage, each person focuses on his or her partner. We can rejoice in a deep and undivided commitment to our spouse (v. 18).
Our romance is also being observed. The dancers, while they are enjoying their partner, know someone is watching. In the same way, we read, “For your ways are in full view of the LORD, and he examines all your paths” (v. 21). God wants to protect our marriages, so He’s constantly watching us. May we please Him through the loyalty we show to each other.
Just like in the Jarabe there is a rhythm to follow in life. When we keep the beat of our Creator by being faithful to Him—whether we are married or unmarried—we find blessings and joy.
Dear Lord, You know all my ways. Help me to honor You in my relationships with others.
Faithfulness brings joy.

Day 6: Joel 2:12-13
Returning to the Lord is a time for us to fast, pray, repent and seek the face of God in all sincerity. It’s not just praying for the arm of the Lord to be revealed, but the face of the Lord as we recognize our own sin, failures, short comings and our need for God to be God in our lives again. It’s a time for revival that brings repentance and deliverance. Returning to the Lord is an act of repentance and faith, setting aside our carnal desires and reaching out for His help. Returning to the Lord gets us back to where we should have been all along. Let us consecrate ourselves as we catch the vision, plan and purposes of God and begin to fulfil it, aligning ourselves in the process for acceleration this year.
Friday, 18th January
Thus we must make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by following the same pattern of disobedience.
Today we are reminded to strive to obey faith. Fighting means trying without giving up. Day by day we must learn to live holy. Do not let us fall into disobedience so that we come to eternal life.
God, help me to fight in faith to find Your presence. Light me with your grace. In Jesus name, Amen.
GOD is OMNIPOTENT. He is ALL POWERFUL and ALL KNOWING. He has already made provisions for EVERY situation we will face. He's invested in EVERY facet of our lives, and wants the BEST for us. No need to worry when, "IT IS FINISHED."
My eyes strategically fell on this 1/9/17 entry as I read my old devotionals to see the strength of my ✍🏽 journey. Little did I know where I’d find myself later that evening (being admitted into the hospital on the verge of going into a Diabetic Coma, unbeknownst to me). Two years later... God is merciful and kind. I owe him my commitment. God IS my miracle worker! 🙌🏾***************************************
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast."~
Ephesians 2:8-9(NIV)📖 #Grace and #Mercy is given to us daily. No one can take credit for what #God graciously gives however, we do take it for granted sometimes. We think nothing of it that our lives are covered and protected; we awake fully functioned; families and friends are surrounded by #Angels and our homes are rooted in #peace while we sleep at night. There's so much to be thankful for in a world of instability.
Throughout the day, make it a practice to tell God "thank you" and name what it is. He welcomes our #praise and #worship. It acknowledges that we want constant communication with him. Never tire of being grateful. We could never cover our lives in one day. God comes and sees about us no matter where we are. I think that's pretty amazing don't you? Today, I'm thankful to wake from a sound sleep, to be able to hear God's voice to document another #devotional for his people. 🙂ENJOYING THESE POSTS? Share them with someone! I'd appreciate it
