We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
What are powers and principalities? These are spiritual powers in the heavenly realm.
The Word of God says this: all you need to do is ask in Jesus’ name and have faith the size of a mustard seed to watch the mountains of impossibility move in your life. If you don’t think this will work, I challenge you to give God a chance. Our God is an on-time God, and He is faithful to the last jot and tittle.
Put on the whole armor of God and plan to defeat any enemy. There has never been a servant of God in the history of the world who was disappointed at calling upon the Lord in his or her hour of need. You will not be the first.
Have you prayed once and nothing happened? Pray again! Pray until your hunger is satisfied, until your need is met. Fight to win! Don’t give up until God gives you His answer.
Prophetic Declaration - I am free from sin because of what Christ has done and no devil in hell can condemn me for what Christ has already paid for!

Unbeknownst to me, at the time, this was exactly one month before Journey and Nevaeh would be born. There was magic and grace in the mystery of not knowing that. I remember stress and anxiety, I remember hope and faith, and I remember mystery, but what I feel the most, and even re-live as I chronicle this story, is the deepest yearning to hold my babies.
I remember looking back at different versions of my awareness of our reality and fearing different things at different points. At first I thought about how hard motherhood hit me, even with just Selah. I mean, my world was turned upside-down; shocked by the overwhelm. I loved it. And my entire existence was transformed. In a way, motherhood was exactly what I always thought it would be and yet never had the capacity to imagine. I used to often say I was too selfish to have kids. Though I couldn’t understand prior to experiencing it, I knew that having a baby was an enormity of an everything-altering, lifelong responsibility. Boy was I right, and boy was I wrong. The words are accurate but the emphasis was out of place. You see, I hadn’t accounted for the deepest place in my heart being reawakened with a love so deep. I had never been in love like this before. The kind of love that realigns purpose with being and reminds of the love of the One who created you. Even though I was logistically a walking contradiction—nourishment and rest in were far outweighed by all things out—it seemed everything had fallen apart but somehow into place, and for first time all was as it should be. This is the beautiful mess, the dichotomy that is motherhood.
Early in this second pregnancy, in the anticipation of waiting for my other one I would soon get to hold and love, I feared the “mess” eclipsing the “beauty” and being crushed to shambles under all the pressure. I watched the documentary, “When the Bow Breaks”, which highlights mothers’ postpartum experiences ranging from mild baby blues to the crazed psychosis that led to one mother’s suicide. I thought, “oh dear God! I’d better stay aware of my levels and emotions. I’d better speak up and ask for help!” And then eventually, like with most informative pieces of (contd👇🏽)
Stop overthinking, stop talking so much, and just fucking do it.
We wanted to travel... we wanted to see more of the splendor of what our God created...
Tonight, in thinking of our time spent on the beautiful island of Tahiti, I was reminded of a quote by Augustine that one of my favorite pastors, Louie Giglio, shared from his Indescribable tour years ago:
“Men go abroad to wonder at the heights of mountains, at the huge waves of the sea, at the long courses of the rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motions of the stars, and yet they pass by themselves and they don’t even notice.”
Traveling opens your eyes to the vast wonders that God spoke into existence, yes. It invites you into scenery that can nearly take your breath away by the grandeur of its beauty. But how often do we stop and think about the living, breathing miracle that is... us. The person you are in this very moment in time. You and me, we’re a miracle.
In that same series, Louie also shares that our DNA is a 3 billion character description of the human genome and there are 75 trillion cells that make you *you*.
Think about that! We are quick to be captivated by the beauty that the ocean beholds, but let us not forget the miracle that is found in us as human beings.
So wherever you are in the world tonight, we pray that you feel the significance of who you are; you were created with more divine care and purpose than even the highest mountains and the deepest seas.
“So God created man in his own image, in the image and likeness of God he created him; male and female he created them.”
- Genesis 1:27
“I will praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” - Psalm 139:14
Had an amazing weekend, with some incredible men. I’ve put a huge effort these last 6 months in surrounding myself with people who are more successful then me in areas that I care about. Growing up I must of read that 100 times but it was one of the last things I did on my journey to success. It should of been the first, life is so easy and simple when you are being lifted up by your peers to that next level instead of trying to drag others with you. Get yourself right first and get around a circle that you want your life to look like. Then you can always go back and help those who ask. #catchingfire#godisgreat#faith#blessed#sedona#arizona#flagstaff
Saturday night, a two-hour long, full video of the confrontation became widely available on social media, and that video shows a very different interaction than the one initally portrayed. The video, taken from the point of view of a second group of protesters who witnessed the interaction, shows that Phillips approached the teens — not the other way around, as Phillips claims — and that the teens were relatively peaceful during the incident, laughing and clapping along with Phillips' drumming, and occasionally asking questions like, "what is going on here?" We now have a 2 hour raw recording of the MAGA kids incident.
We can see
No chanting "build the wall" as far as I saw
Native group approaches about an hour after the kids were already there
"Black Activists" are Black Hebrew Israelites yelling.
The video also seems to show that the Covington High School kids were the victims of racial slurs: the group that recorded the video, a group called Black Hebrew Israelites, called the students "fa***ts," Reason's Robby Soave — who has done one of the most comprehensive investigations on the incident — reports. "Far from engaging in racially motivated harassment, the group of mostly white, MAGA-hat-wearing male teenagers remained relatively calm and restrained despite being subjected to incessant racist, homophobic, and bigoted verbal abuse by members of the bizarre religious sect Black Hebrew Israelites, who were lurking nearby," Soave reports.
QUIT READING THIS GARAGE! There are no clear, definite New Testament quotations from the Apocrypha by Jesus or the apostles. While there may be various allusions by the New Testament to the Apocrypha, there are no authoritative statements like "thus says the Lord," "as it is written," or "the Scriptures say." Jesus implicitly rejected the Apocrypha as Scripture by referring to the entire accepted Israelite Canon of Scripture, “From the blood of Abel [Gen. 4:8] to the blood of Zechariah [2 Chron. 24:20], who was killed between the altar and the house of God; yes, I tell you, it shall be charged against this generation (Lk. 11:51; cf. Mt. 23:35).” Abel was the first martyr in the OT from the book of Genesis while Zechariah was the last martyr in the book of Chronicles. In the Hebrew Canon, the first book was Genesis and the last book was Chronicles. They contained all of the same books as the standard 39 books accepted by Israelites today, but they were just arranged differently. For example, all of the 12 minor prophets (Hosea through Malachi) were contained in one book. This is why there are only 24 books in the Hebrew Bible today. By Jesus' referring to Abel and Zachariah, He was canvassing the entire Canon of the Hebrew Scriptures which included the same 39 books accepted today. Therefore, Jesus implicitly rejected the Apocrypha as Scripture.
Before you can ascend to your next level, you’ll need to muster up the guts to visit your vulnerabilities! And yes, it may seem scary, but within that sacred space, there are important lessons that you have to learn. If you really want to grow, that’s where you need to go! ✌🏼💕💪🏼
Health, is a journey. One that YOU have to search for what truly works for YOU. It’s not eating a certain way...it’s about maintaining a lifestyle that you truly can embody for an extended period of time...that you ENJOY!
You have to be your best researcher, experimenter and student. NEVER let me, this person, that person or anybody else, tell you that you HAVE to do it “this way”. That’s irresponsible
I think Keto is great! It makes scientific sense and it’s working for hundreds of thousands of people around the world. It’s still fairly new, so more research is coming out. But so far so good!
If you’re doing Keto or looking to find a way of eating that you enjoy, COMMENT BELOW. I want to know what you guys think or if you have any questions inspireothers #keto#nutrition#BecomingSZN
Focus. On. Principles.
We are accomplishment oriented thinkers..which can be good and bad. Goals are great to have- but instead of focusing on the goal, focus on who you have to become, in order to make that goal stick.
Were not interested in having resolutions, but rather, lifestyle behavior alterations. If you commit to the principles that your goal demands, in due time, you will be where you want to be...and you will KEEP IT!
Hope this helped someone out...this is the BECOMING SZN! #2019#resolutions#motivation#letsgetit
