Bonsoir friends, it’s LQC’s Char here reporting from my jollies in Chamonix, France. In order to advise the queer fam on future travels, I’ve diligently researched Chamonix’s LGBTQ+ offer and located the town’s ONLY gay bar - Le Tof. The only problem is that it doesn’t open until 1am and being an old lesbian, we all know that I won’t be reporting back from inside!* That said, check back soon for the first of a new series on our blog focused on LGBTQ+ travel experiences 🌈🏂
* If anyone reading this has enjoyed a night in Le Tof, let us know more in the comments below 👇
Some friends ask me when to send their kids to ski school, my response: Google says at 4 😂😂😂 Daugther skis for 5 years and only this year a great trainer helped her make solid progress (🎬on the video she is in the middle)🏅🏅🏅; 2nd kiddo hated when we started at 4 at #chamonix, last year he suddenly "returned" to skiing. He told me today: "I don't like it but it is my trainning and I will do it" 👍🏻👍🏻; 3d has a potential but at his 4 all gear makes him tired in 30 mins; let's see
4rd has never seen the slope yet but constantly checks his sis'/bros' gear 😁😁😁
I love road trips. 🚘 Packed up the pups and headed to Chamonix, France (first time in the French Alps!). If y’all have been following me for a while you know I adore the alps- Swiss, German, Italian, and of course, Austrian. Can’t wait to see what the French side has to offer!
With all the traveling that we do it’s so nice to be in the car and take along the dogs. And to pull over when we see magical mountains like this 😍 #heleneinfrance
